Hi, This is my first time posting on this forum, so I hope the question doesn,t sound silly. We have just received an unexpected cheque from our notaire together with the deeds for our house we purchased last July. The cheque is in euros so we will pay it into our french bank account. Can anyone tell me if there is a time limit for paying in cheques, as there is in this country. We are going over the first week in April. Would it be okay to wait until then or would it be better to post it to the bank?. Thanks for any help. Gemma
