I sold a French property in October 2012 and I have recently been made aware that the social charge of over 5000 Euros is actually illegal and that I should put in a claim to be reimbursed. However I would have to mount a legal challenge as the tax authorities implemented a cut off date being December 31st the year following completion date for any claims to be considered. My question is do you know of anyone in a similar position and how are they going about their claim? Many thanks for any help. Philip
