Thanks for the responses. I should have said that we are in our fifties and "not serious" for me and my wife would mean 40 to 70k or so, depending on the terrain, with a decent break for refreshments at lunch! More to get some exercise and enjoy the scenery with like minded people rather than training for the TDF...

Anyone know of a social - not too series - cycling club in Montpellier?
