Are there any Carp fishermen living near Bellac/Le dorat/ Magnac Laval? Ive got a house nearby and am looking for someone to share fishing trips when I visit. I have access to a few lakes but am actively seeking new areas all the time. Ive had some very good catches from the area  but it can be a bit boring on my own. My Partner fishes with me in the warmer months but she wont thru the colder months. I fish 24/36 hr sessions day and night so it would be good to hook up with a seasoned Carp angler with all the correct gear etc.....Phil

Hi does anyone have access or even own a private lake for fishing in the Haute Vienne (Bellac,La Souterraine, Le Dorat) I fish mainly for Carp and Catfish. I've fished a lot of commercial lakes in the area mainly owned by English people but they are quite crowded thru the summer. I'm willing to pay and even offer a couple of days work clearing pathes and vegetation etcc if someone needs a hand. Im over every six weeks for a break from work and can bring out bits n pieces as well................over to you

Brilliant!! I only need small amounts of m3 at a time. I have done a fair bit of pointing a few years ago and have had a little practice the chaux mix and with a little plasticizer in the mix its quite manageable, I have found that washing the area to be pointed with a low pressure water supply removes all the dust and the mix goes in and satys in, the secret then is to leave it to start going off before you brush finish it to your desired finish. Practice will make it perfect............................Thanks again for the Eguzon tip

Thanks for your comments, I dont live out there it just a holiday home at the mo, I dont have a car with a trailer, I geuss Ill have to get it delivered from the quarry but as I dont have any land Ill have to get it shot outside and move it into my barn. Does anyone know costs per m2 and what delivery costs might be for say 3 x m2............. Ta everyone
