Hi can anyone help I have my TDS (FOR WHAT ITS WORTH)though it does say sans profession. I have been offered a few jobs as a cleaner for private prpoerties,will I need to go back to the prefecture to ask them to update my TDS or will my employers have to arrange this for me. I dont want to work "on the Black"as I would like to get references to build up my "mopping" empire" but where do I start. Thanks Michelle a.k.a Hilda Ogden

Advice Needed Can anyone help with this subject. We have been asked by various people if we could provide lodgings (Room only)for young french people working here (50)in the summer. we would like to be able to do this and will not include food, although use of kitchen facilities are available .This worked for us in England quite well,when we used to take in foreign students. Anyway back to the points in question 1.Will we have to register with anyone to do this ....as we would not technically be a B&B or hotel 2. Would we just declare income on ouR yearly tax form after taking into account usage of water,electric etc. 3. would we need any extra household insurance. can anyone help please. we bought with us a new dell computer with easy cd creator (roxio) pre installed. it worked a couple of times but now when we try to use it we get the message that engine initialistion failed could not utilise engine. I contacted Dell and was told I probably have the Klez worm !! Downloaded all the necessary antivirus software and found that I did not have the worm .Unistalled and re-installed Roxio It still does not work. Bearing in mind that I have to do everything (to do with computers) in easy steps (not very technically minded)can anyone help.... Thanks
