Hi Simon, I know it's ages since your post but I'm heading down to Royan in a few weeks and am looking for the same - bass fishing etc. Did you find any good spots? I've posted info requests in a few forums but had no replies as of yet. I'm looking at one spot in particular, on the breakwater rocks at the end of the beach at La Palmyre (next to the Club Med La Palmyre complex), did you fish there I wonder?! Here's hoping that you get this message! Neil
