Help, rescued woodpecker

Thanks for that Christine, but I think Charente Maritime is a bit too far. I have emailed Chris, and am awaiting his reply -
I rescued a young woodpecker (lesser spotted, I think!) from a neighbours cat this morning, and cannot find details anywhere of a bird rescue centre. It is fledged, appears to be uninjured, but cannot fly. Can anyone help me please, I am near la Rochefoucauld (16)? Marie
