I am about to buy a house in the north of the Dordogne, it was a holiday home for many years and the owners have let the headge at the front of the property get far to high. in most places it has grown above the overhead cable that runs along the road and there is a concrete pole that is surounded by trees. would I have to have the power cut before cutting down the trees. or could I ask EDF to clear the trees that are close to the cable? would they charge me for this. Thanks
