  1. Hello Teamed Up.
Three years ago I had what would once have been called a nervous breakdown, due to severe bullying at work. I was in a dreadful
state, very anxious, and depressed, and I had totally lost all my self esteem. I had to retire from work, and a medical panel from Benefits Agency thought I was unfit for anywork, so they paid me 79 a week. This is reviewed each year and so far the panel do not feel I am able to cope with a work situation.
This can be carried over to France, but will be reviewed here in September. I get my national insurance stamp paid. Alsi although I am only 55 I get a E121 which means I don't have to pay into the system whilst on ICB. I have been quite poorly with depression since christmas It is a horrid thing to have. For those who don't have it, it is difficult to explain. I hope this helps.

You need phone no from back of card. You need to give them number
off back of card..card no. Confirm your address They will tell you to go into services press on remote control, then to systems set up. then system details...give manufacturer, serial no,version no,but you will be asked for all this on the phone. We had the channels within 5 mins. Good luck

  3. It occurred to me today as i took my library books back for the last time, how much i am going to miss the library service.A building I have gone to most weeks.
I first joined at 3, 52 years ago. It has always been a place of warmth and excitement, ( when i was 5, I am told I pushed a little girl over, to steal the last Enid Blyton on the shelf)
a place where i can look things up, read newspapers, a place I could proudly see my dads books on display. Later a place to introduce my own children to reading. Now I can use computors, for a cheap rent obtain, DVD's,Cd's, video, order books for prompt delivery. Find out about local services, clubs.
A haven of quietness, which gives me a feeling of security,
how I shall miss it.I shall hold onto my cherised library card, to use on vists back to see friends.
    What are french libraries like?
    Molly
