  1. I've never heard of anyone doing this. It seems an awful lot of work and expense. After a while the dust will settle .When our walls look a bit dusty I just go over them with the brush attachment on the hoover, works like a dream.

I remember during renovation the dust just seems to keep coming.
  2. Usually if they give you a date ,then say ,but any date will do! I kept one going for a while with offers of transport to the conference venue as our place is so isolated, but of course they were reluctant to do this and only keen on sending the over-priced cheque. They gave up before I did!

  3. We get this caterpillar attack every year and noticed the neighbour doesn't. Knowing him to be organic I asked and he refered us to this bacterial spray by"solabiol" containing bacillus thuringiensis. Soap and water won't touch it because the caterpillars protect themselves wrapped in a leaf. We got it at the local brico.
  4. I like the huge range of seeds that T&M feature so will buy from them in the future. I'm usually in Blighty at the start of March each year so will have to visit the garden centre and bring them back myself, although they don't hold the whole range.

I'll let y'all know if they ever arrive!
  5. T&M have suggested it's French customs which are holding the seeds, but not much we can do about that! Thay've v kindly offered a refund, but I think it's a bit strange that neither deliveries have turned up. It puts me off ordering online in the future.

Friends are arriving from UK next week end so they'll bring replacements.
  6. We entered last year it's "Maison Fleuries" in this dept 36. They came to inspect during July between the big Spring show and later flowers,it was raining without much to impress, but blow me down if we didn't get 2 nd prize! They definitely like the green route with flowers to attract, bees, butterflies etc and they love the Jardin anglais look which is easy to achieve as it's a bit untidy. we were astounded with our prizes. 38 euros plus a 40 euro garden voucher, a boot bag , a fab large cyclamen and a bowl of polyanthus ( or is that polyanthi) wish I'd entered in previous years.

Also had a presentation at la salle de fète with nibbles drinks and the big cheese from the conseil genéral. They are obviously keen on encouraging gardening here!
  7. Is anyone else having probs receiving seeds from this company?

I've always ordered online from them but this year 2 deliveries have gone astray, now it's getting late and we will have to buy in france with their limited range. I'll have to ask for a refund.

  8. This kind of thing used to wind me up , but after 7 years we've seen several fail so the next one won't bother me . Any business takes time( and rightly so) to build up a regular loyal clientele ,I think even more so in our field, So we just get on with what we do. Last year ,returners accounted for nearly 30% of our guests.
  9. Our english covers are too wide and to short for the french duvet,so i usually make sure it has an equal overhang either side and peg it in each bottom corner. It seems to work, but I can't do much about the roll at the top or bottom.Any ideas?
  10. Anybody had any luck in getting their records sent to France? I tried to get my records before we came here, but were told they are the property of the NHS. Now,8 years later my Doctor would appreciate a look. He told me it's difficult getting his UK patients records.
