  4. we have just recieved the compra vent and both partys have signed and commited. the owner in the uk hasnt been to the property for 2 years and the land needs some serious tlc and hard work. we were thinking of moving onto the land( rural )and camping and spending the summer cutting down the  brambles etc the owner has no problem with this i think legal we would be squattting but if we are buying would anyone care or would this be a big no no.  any advice greatfully accepted ,
  5. we will get into our house in september and the huge garden hasnt been touched for years it a mixture of head high brambles and nettles.i was thinking of getting someone in with a tractor to mow it all down but ill still have to cut again when brambles regrow. So how good are the brushcutters with the metal blades.?? will these go through thick 3/4inch diameter brambles because if they do i would have the tool for when the brambles return, untill we dig them all out.or is there a quicker chemical alternative. thanks Dave

Thanks for the great response !! we wont be able to check the house when its ready for completion as we are working in the south of france weve already made the trip up once only to be disapointed because the seller never signed so  were back next week. Im wondering if i could ask the owner to get it repaired on his insurance just to stop the damage getting worse. It is a restoration project but the roof is fine apart from the wind damage and the wind weve had down here latley is crazy.the owner is in the uk and i doubt if he will come and do it once again thnk you very much for the great response. Dave
