I am very concerned about the strict checks that HMRC are carrying out when you leave UK and France at the Eurotunnel Terminals. In addition, these checks are carried out not by Custom or Police officers but by Security staff which - according to my experience, having worked for the Police - may not be properly vetted.  Thanks.

A few days ago I received a phonecall from STAMM Insurance offering me a cheap accident cover. I accepted and when it arrived, I carefully checked the conditions and I discovered that as I am non resident in France, the Policy is not valid !  In other words, I was mis-sold.  Beware and read the small prints carefully. Always.

Hello everyone, don't get fooled. To receive BBC 1,2,3,4, Channel 4, film 4, more 4, E4, Channel Five, plus loads of other good English channels just buy a digital satellite box (from 30 Pds) a satellite dish min. 60cms wide with the arm that can accept  2 or, better,  3 LNB's to be pointed to Astra 1, Astra 2 and Hotbird. You will be able also to receive all main Italian Channels, so you can dream you are in Italy !!! LOL !! Have fun.
