Quick buck (euro) or long term profit.  The average business has a life of 24 years.  Remains to be seen whether MOL strategy will sustain long term - personally I doubt it.  We passengers are not the client base - we are the commodity.  His clients are the airport operators and he gets paid according to volumes. However, he doesn't credit his 'commodity' with any nous which is a mistake.  If the volumes go elsewhere business model falters, BIGTIME.
  2. Yes it didn't make a profit but they didn't take hundreds of bookings and then pull out.  As it happens they are back this summer and the price structure looks reasonably competitive.
  3. There is nothing clever about establishing a route, building up a client base and then dumping them! Flybe are flying direct Edinburgh to Limoges on Saturdays July and most of August and they are getting our business. With a bit of luck they will extend in 2011 if Ryanair don't come back.
