Thanks for Tip about insurance. It is not the door glass that needs replacing. That would be easy to do. It is one of the small side panels. Thanks anyway. Good to see people read this site.

I have a traditional French enclosed fire, but unfortunately on of the small side panels of glass is broken. Does anybody know of a tradesman who could replace this successfully in my house, near Hesdin? Terry
