  1. Tango is an 11 year old Pointer at the SPA in Carcassonne - Rowan tells me that he's going down hill fast and she was shocked by the change in him since she last saw him 10 days ago!  Please look at the link to see him and read about him - spread the word to see if there is someone to help the lovely gentle dog, urgently!  Thank you.

  2. OK I changed the ages - sorry about that, senior moment.  I put this post on for someone else and they wanted the amount that had been payed mentioned - of course it's irrelevant but actually it sometimes registers in SOME people's view.  Let's just get back to basics - two very lovely young Jack Russells with long lives ahead of them (I had one that lived to 21 and no I didn't get that wrong!) had all their jabs and IDs done and the very necessary neutering!  Just because you might happen to buy an expensive pedigree dog doesn't automatically mean they are just for breeding.......... it's breeding that we need to drastically curb!  But there are thousands of fickle people who would never contemplate taking a good mongrel for some absurd reason...... dear me no!  They know nothing!

  3. Max and Mindy are 18 month old pedigrees who are in a fix!  Their owner has been sectioned and is really very ill now and his wife (in her 70s) is struggling with serious financial problems left by him due to his condition.  These two dogs were purchased in one of his fits of extravagant spending for 2000 (yes thousand) €uros!  This lady doesn't want money for them just a really good home.  They are 18 months old, neutered, chipped and vaccinated and I assume will have their pedigree papers.  Copy and paste the link to see them - pictures not great but the best that we can do for now :-

  4. I would just like to add that doglinks would pay their adoption fee if this will help.  I am always reluctant to offer dogs as being 'free' because dogs never come free - they need to be properly fed, kept warm and their health taken care of....... but sometimes the thought of a double adoption fee might just turn away a good home.  So if this is the case, don't turn away from Alie and Baba for this reason, but please give them a good home.

  5. He's about six and his foster mum says he's just like a teddy bear!  Yes he loves to chase and eat hens.......but all he wants is the right owner who understands his needs (walks and affection) and he will make a really good companion.  His time is running out and he's very frustrated where he is at the moment as his foster mum is nearly ready to pop her first baby and just can't take him for long walks anymore so he's got pent up energy.  He's a really lovely boy and I hope someone will help him.  There will be money for him to be castrated if this will make a difference.

  6. He is indeed gorgeous - however Amanda just because you are in the UK doesn't make you safe...........I could easily arrange for Boby to have his passport done for you!!!  But for the other difficult males I have in my care at the moment (including Scramble who is now completely mobile on his own!!!) who just love a good scrap if I let them - I would have this little boy in a heartbeat.  But I can't so I fret!
