  1. Thanks very much. Issigeac is not that far away from me. I shall investigate immediately.     .
  2. Summer over, visiotrs despatched, house renovation finished and now have some time to myself at last. I live in dept. 46 and am seeking an Am Dram group which performs in English. Would consider French or mixed groups but despite having been here for 6 years, my French is good but not great! I understand there is one in Montcuq, which is still a bit of a distance, but, lets face it, everything is a bit of a distance! Considering departments 24, 19, 47 and possibly 12. Not seeking stardom! Look forward to hearing from fellow 'board treaders'!
  3. This little white cat is 5- 6 months old and has a passport,(but no rabies blood test certificate) is inoculated and by this time next week may also be neutered. He Recently arrived from England but the owners plans have gone belly-up and they have had to return in a hurry. I cannot keep him, my older cats and my dog have made him an outcast and I am having to keep them apart. At the moment, he lives out but is affectionate and housetrained. I live in the Lot and will deliver within reasonable distance.
  4. I am new to this site, so forgive me if this has been covered before. This evening, my cat brought me a small snake, dead, approx 12 inches long, greyish smooth skin with patterned head. have checked out the site www.planetepassion.eu and from the photos it appears to be a young whip snake, which I understand is not harmful to humans. Would they be harmful to my young cats? We have sighted several snakes in/around my hay over the last few weeks, as well as some shed skin, but I could not identify them from the photos, one was at least 1.5 metres long, and very green in colour, but not terribly 'thick'. another was approx a metre long, unfortunately, it was so fast I did not see its head, its body was grey/black with very fine markings, but not 'stripey' we have seen more snakes this past month than in the last four years we have been here, why would this be? Although I am quite fascinated by them and think they are beautiful, i am also a little afraid of them.
