Hi folks, can anyone help me? Need to move our house contents around the second week of October and looking for somewhere to store it all until our house purchase is complete (a couple of months I guess). We are moving to La Doree (53). If anyone know of a  solution then we'd be very grateful for any pointers Andy & Lucy

We are wanting to buy a property nr to St Hilaire du Harcouet but need to rent around that area until we find something. We have an 8 year old daughter and I was wondering if I am able to enrol her in a school that might not necessarily be in the town/village that we eventually buy - although will be near. I'm sure I've previously heard that it's frowned upon by the Mairie to send children to a different village school. Can anyone help? Thanks Lucy

Hi In September we are moving out of our home to rent in Lower Normandy.  After months of searching for the perfect property and not finding anything, we are now looking down the line of renovating or a new build.  Can anyone give advise which is best.  We are under the impression that a new build doesn't take any longer than renovation as you don't need to 'make right' what's already there. Any ideas as to how much a 4 bed new build with another 4 bedroomed accommodation attached would cost us? Any advise and ideas really welcome ! Thanks
