AnOther
Slightly tangential but 'er indoors has recently started using MOOCH for book exchanges.Think someone here put me, hence her, onto it.Magazines are a different animal and I've often wondered about a network to pass these around. Cendrillon
GayWe sometimes get books left behind by our clients. Clair We leave a lot of books in our house but AFAIK to date no books have been taken by our visitors. Our clients who visited a couple of weeks ago e-mailed us afterwards and said how much they liked having our books to read, games for the children to play with and our C.D.s to listen to. Most of the C.D.s we picked up very cheaply so no problem leaving them in the house when it is let.
Clair
Some guests have "borrowed" some paperbacks which they hadn't finished reading... I would have offered them if they'd asked...
Chris_Haze
We have around 100 nearly new paperbacks which we'd be happy to swop or sell for 1€ each. (any proceeds go into buying more books for our group of readers) We're 10 minutes away from Parthenay in the Deux Sevres so let us know if you're interested.
