I watched this week's woodwind section. They were all brilliant and hard to choose between them. I rather thought the Chinese boy who played last would win but no it was the girl with the recorder.
The same could be said about the café at La Rochelle airport which was run for years by a lady who eventually retired, aged 75. Now the new owners have done away with her menu and slightly retro style and it no longer has the same appeal or ambiance.
"Now for the jollities..." Just caught the end of those last night as I tried to re-tune our fuzzy radio alarm, what fun and although I couldn't see any pictures the atmosphere sounded great.
I have first hand experience of this service. OH decided he would get someone in to clean our U.K. oven. Fantastic result, could never have acheived the same standard myself, only problem was the oven didn't work after the clean!![:(] So we had to go out to dinner that night[:)]
A tragic and sad accident indeed. I have just renewed my EHIC and noted that while they will cover treatment required while abroad the EHIC does not cover repatriation costs and they advise people to make sure they have travel insurance.
