OK, this is now old news, but I found this in the Draft folder written in 2005 and it's a bit of fun.

Add to it with your own idiotic questions!

Since I have been flicking on the kitchen TV, in order to follow certain breaking news events, recently, as I retreat for a well-earned cup of tea, in between vainly attempting to decipher ungrammatical and idiotic letters, on behalf of clients, from various government bodies, invariably written by illiterate people, with unpronounceable names,  I have had the general misfortune, to realise that TV companies have spawned a new generation of revenue generators: telephone quiz competitions, with such dumb multiple choice questions, I am left totally amazed!

One that cracked me up was on "celebrity" Weakest Link.

What word beginning with T was dug by prisoners to escape from a concentration camp.

Answer from some twot called Brian who apparently "starred" in Big Brother....Herbal

The idea that he even considered prisoners sat around in some Stalag supping herbal tea I thought was rather sad.

I suppose though, it wasn't multiple choice.
