Gemonimo
Does anyone have an idea how my daughter could return my bankers card from the UK, given the postal strike situation. Or should I just ask for a new one at the bank. Thanks.
Mr Coeur de Lion
She could walk over with it. It would be much quicker than the post system! [;-)]I think someone on here said they got something last wek from the UK within 2 days of it being sent despite the strikes. Lucky maybe.
Cendrillon
Post delivery carried on "as normal" here in Surrey. Of course we do not know what is being held up at the larger depots. Could your daughter send the card to you by registered mail?
Gardengirl
We seem to be getting post as normal. Our son posted a card 1st class on Friday, and I was told today that it arrived yesterday. Both places are in the south of England, but as our post now has to be sent to Swindon for sorting, I thought it was pretty good. In fact, it seems a better delivery service than before the strike!GG
Pickles
Priority post - eg recorded/special delivery - is apparently getting through with no problem at all.RegardsPickles
