Perhaps it is since the murder of the young Anglo-Spaniard, but perhaps not. In any case, a young man, interviewed, was explaining that the French are turned away at discos and bars, and that if you want to be served, you have to say you are Belgian. [:-))]I searched for a link to that documentary and couldn't remember which channel or what programme it was. I hadn't realised that (apparently), it is the "jeunes des cités" (read - of Maghrebin descent - according to this right-wing forum) who might be particularly unwelcome on the Costa Brava. Not that long ago that we wanted our youth going out killing folk, in fact right through history there have been few times when young men and maybe women too were not supposed to go out and kill, all in the name of their king, or country or belief or whatever. And now all these over testosteroned young fellas have no real relief for these primordial urges which have suited 'society' until now. It always surprises me that we don't have more problems than we do. I don't really really believe that we have 'evolved' as much as some would have us think.
