idun
What heartened me tonight was that many soldiers have discarded their uniforms. And it was suggested that Gaddafi's terror troops appear to have abandoned him and that would be very good news. Yes a busy night tonight in Tripoli. Gardengirl
Events seem to have moved swiftly overnight, with a huge move into Tripoli by the rebel side; one Gadaffi son has been captured and another gave himself up. It is said that 90% 'of the job' is complete, and a very interesting broadcast by Gadaffi has just been on R4, but no sign of him - maybe he's not even in the country! It's just been announced that David Cameron is returning to chair a security meeting. We now wait to see what sort of government comes about.
