Frogslegs
Cat bought in a pipistrelle bat which I thought was dead....locked cat in other room and went back to bed. This morning I have found it hanging underneath the first step of our stairs. Have left window open so it may fly out, but that wont be till tonight, OH is away and not sure if I fancy moving it by hand! Any advice?
Lori
I'm no expert, but we get them here too. You might try using a soft towel to scoop it up while it is sleeping and place it in a shady location outside - behind an outside wall/door/volet. If you wait until it wakes it will, from my experience, be much more difficult to get it to leave.

Frogslegs
Well it was first thing this morning so not quite awake, thought I may have the pipistrelle bit wrong? Might try the soft towel approach,
chris pp
Best left alone with the window open until dark when it will fly out on its own.Chris
