Ken
Yes I've heard of that. Isn't it the game where they play with a funny shaped ball?
anotherbanana
A proper shaped ball!?
Ken
I have always understood a ball was round! Isn't that why it's called a ball?
Judith-aka-Judith
Mint, Divided loytalities, indeed, even though I am not Welsh, I have a great love for that plucky little nation, have much of the Celt in me, and would love to see them win .. all to do with large against small .. and nothing to do with patrimony! And how they can sing .. to raise the spirits and the heart .. Gardian
France to win by 12 pts. They were the best team in the last 6N and again in this tournament. If Wales do come through, they’ll be the ‘jammiest’ GS winners ever. They played their first two matches against 14 men for most of the game and had 16 against us.
anotherbanana
If the Welsh win the French will blame covid or the referee or........?

The last time I saw my ophthalmologue (?spelling) he was explaining to me how I have some astigmatism in my left eye and he will have to decide whether I should have an adapted lens for that eye or whether a "standard" implant will do. He said my left eye ball was the shape of a rugby ball but that the right one was like a football. So, there you have it, in case you have ever wondered what astigmatism is! He didn't t ink about correcting the astigmatism when he replaced my lens, said I was used to wearing glases and yes, I am, but it's so nice to see without them until it comes to good detail, I can walk around quite safely which is more than I could before .. Gardian
For me, that was Wales’ best performance in the 6N .......... yet they managed to lose the match.I still can’t work out how France did it, especially with the lack of urgency that they showed in the last 20 minutes. idun
Well one of those last minute wins ...... as was said, it is never over until it is over!I do wish Italy had a better team, I really do. And I wanted Wales to win today. I do have biases, unashamedly[:)]

BritinBretagne
A fascinating game from kick off to the last kick. Both teams playing committed ball handling rugby. A great advert for Rugby Union. The players all played their part in the action but man o& the match for me was the referee.
mint
Ha! Ha! BinB, deffo the referee[:D]Cool under fire, fair and meticulous, explained all his decisions and, when needed, shut someone up with a quiet word.

Gardian
Should be good on Friday.France will probably win and may well get the 4 tries that they need ........ but whether Scotland will leave a 20+ pt gap is far from certain.
