Monika
I have tried to search, but there seems no thread regards this! What cards do French Motorists use on the machines in Petrol Stations (Super U etc.) Could we get a card like that, sometimes it would be really handy, especially when they are closed for Lunch. cooperlola
A Carte Bleu - French bank debit card. You can get one with any French bank account. But they charge you (around 8 euros a month) to have one.
Junlesley
We had trouble sussing that one out, we could pay with our British credit card when the pumps were open and the attendant took the card, however we soon realised you need a French card if the pumps were unattended.
