Beemer1150 Posted January 23, 2008 Share Posted January 23, 2008 We are renting a modern (about 5 yr old) Pavillon while searching for our own home and there is something weird about the garage electrics here!There is a three-position switch on the main board which controls the garage: Centre is 'Off' - garage power and light offDown is 'On' - garage power available as normal, garage lights normal, but extractor fans in utility room and bathroom ceilings switch on!Up - garage light glows at about half power, garage power seems to work but may have wrecked sophisticated battery charger/maintainer and not sure about vent fans as afraid to try it again!Anyone any idea as to what's going on? (single or three) If the latter then it could be some odd phase imbalance, but anyway it sounds like a job for a professional.
