Chris T
How do I remove a light switch? I have square 'Legrand' switches with a central rocking section. Do I pull, twist, slide ????. Hopefully a simple question!ThanksChris
La Guerriere
Very much depends on the type. You may find the central bit comes out by pushing down at the bottom. You should see a little notch at the top in which you can shove the tip of the electrical screwdriver. then gently prise off.Switch off at main first of course
BIG MAC
Usually the rocker portion prises out first, small screwdriver and gently pop it out
Ian
The Legrand range I use have covers that clip over the innards. You can spring them off (from top or bottom, if I remember) with the aid of a screwdriver.
Gyn_Paul
The Legrand ones I've got (the ones with the universal set of possible fixings) have the cover plate attached by 4 little lugs: 2 on each side. The one I've just looked at is mortared in the wall (plasterboard not added yet) so it's easy to get your fingers behind the front panel, and I can report that it comes off easier by levering one side rather than the top.p
