NuBeginningsFrance
As some of you may know I started to re instate one of our main walls as it was sadly lacking kerb appealIts taken over 8 months to complete the project.Total length of the wall just over 300mSo here are the before and after pictures.Wall was totally over grown with ivy it took two weeks to strip.Once the ivy was stripped we could see what the condition of the wall was like, not good had to take it down and rebuildThe finished project.Apart from the wall rebuild the second main gates and pillars were also needed rebuilding and new stone carving / repairing

NuBeginningsFrance
Sadly its a rode side wall but every time I drive past it I do tend to slow down. The pics only show one direction we also re built the right hand stretch which was a tad shorter.
Rob Roy
It looked good when you posted the other pictures; now it's finished it looks stunning, so do the gates. Congratulations!
NuBeginningsFrance
The gates were a labour of love, sandblasted then primed with hamerite primer then two top coats of hamerite so they should not need doing for many years !
Frecossais
It looks like you did a great job, the wall and gate look magnificent. Well done you!
Christine Animal
I've just realised from what you have said that they are the original gates. I thought they were new gates at first. Yes, beautiful work, well done. Now all we need is one of that beautiful horse floating through them. [:)] Just another thing. I don't get the title. I understand "the great wall", but what's a thon ? It's a horsefly in French ! Re-edit. Funny how you always learn things and stand corrected. I've just checked for horsefly in French and it's taon. I've heard it so many times, but never seen it written !A wall a thon is something do with a marathon ? Never heard of it before. Certainly something fishy. NuBeginningsFrance
Permissions now back no objections. So we will be installing a 15/5m meter salt water pool. Will be heated by the bio boiler. I also have two building that are 14meters apart that used two have a roof joining them that I am going to reinstate to create a shaded decked area.Work will start in the next three weeks. Théière
Isn't your development used by lots of guests? A salt water chlorine generator pool can't be used for such in France as it would come under the DDASS regulations, unless you are on site producing chlorine via plant which is then directly dosing the pool.Just concerned in case you get a visit via the numerous inspectors. NuBeginningsFrance
Thanks for the concern but the pool is not going to be used by our guest its not part of our program thus not an issue. The pool is going to be our treat ;-)
