I think it is time we took professional advice as to where we should pay tax in England or in France with pensions looming this is a mute point. How to best protect our French home for out children's sake from punitive inheritance taxes. Also whether we are liable for taxe d'habitation when we are not permanently domiciled in France as is the case at the moment. Also we need to understand whether we can off-set the renovation costs of our old house against the income we would receive in renting out a part of it.We are in the South in England and in Charente Maritime in France.
