Stamp Duty

There is no stamp duty in France.

There are just notaires fees and agency fees and these depend on the price you pay for the property that you are buying.

The fees have been given before - try a search to see if that is the information you are after.

Not quite correct - although stamp duty as such is no longer payable in France, the majority of what is often listed as 'notaire fees' goes in taxes, registration fees etc. For instance, on a typical house purchase to the value of 100,000€ you will pay the notaire in the region of 7600€, 5090€ of which is Droits d'enregistrement, 100€ to the conservateur des hypothèques, an estimated 600€ additional miscellaneous charges and 293€ TVA on the notaire's portion.

A detailed online calculator can be found at http://www.paris.notaires.fr/frais_mut_ecran1.php
