I need to connect to the mains drainage. The run from the house is approx 20 metres with good fall. I need to include 1 manhole  or inspection chamber at a change of direction.

Where is best to source materials and does anyone know where I can get the french guidance for install, ie depth of pipe, connection etc, manhole requirements

I'm familiar with British below ground drainage, just need to understand the french system. any help much appreciated

You can source materials for connecting to the mains drainage in France from local building supply stores or specialized plumbing suppliers. To find specific guidance on the French system, including information on the depth of pipes, connections, and manhole requirements, you can reach out to local plumbing authorities or consult relevant building codes and regulations. Additionally, you may consider seeking advice from experienced local plumbers who are familiar with the French drainage system to ensure a successful installation.
