Glcpons Posted April 10, 2004 Share Posted April 10, 2004 Hi all, I have only just registered with forum, so all a bit new to me. Anyway we are currently renovating a property not far from Pons,Charente Maritime and as so many of you will know, all is a big learning curve to say the least. Mind you all seems to be going ok at the moment. To get to my point we are over in France in May and also August and are planning our first 'French Christmas'. Can anyone give any advice as to how Christmas may well differ from in the UK. We have 2 youngish boys and would like to tell them of how French children treat Christmas. Hoping to hear from anyone. LesLauriers Posted April 11, 2004 Share Posted April 11, 2004 Good grief, we're only just into Spring I was just saying to some one yesterday, now that Easter is here the UK shops will start getting their Christmas stocks in!!There were a number of threads about Christmas in France on the Forum last autumn, so if you do a search on 'Christmas' I'm sure you will find all the info you need.Personally, the last thing I want to think about right now is Christmas, I just want the summer weather to arrive Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
