Can anyone inform...[/quote]Laval always has a lovely christmas market/fair with a guest country each year so look out for that. The switching on of the Christmas lights is usually worth visiting as they also have "feu artifice" and lots of boats in the river which are lit up. Last year was a beautiful display.It's a shame that you are not around this weekend. On Sunday 7th, Euromayenne holds it's annual fair in the salle des expositions. There are a whole range of craft and artisanal stalls around a medieval theme this year, entrance is free. Have alook at http://www.euromayenne.org for lmore details.
