Wondered if there are any Brits or english speaking in the area. We hope to complete towards the end of August and although not moving over permanently will hopefully be visiting frequently.Look forward to hearing from anyone in the area. Will Posted July 19, 2005 Share Posted July 19, 2005 There are a lot of British with holiday homes as well as some permanent residents around Barenton, St-Georges-de- Rouelley, Mortain, Bion, St-Jean-du-Corail etc. Even more a bit further north around Sourdeval, and to the east in Domfront. If you experience anything like we did, they will simply turn up on your door step, look round chez vous and persuade you to buy a subscription to the Expat magazine! All the best.
