Helmarion Posted September 9, 2006 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Just thought i would let all you foodies kbow about a lovely restaurant/cafe that has just opened outside Gavray. they are organic and do wondeful vegetarian dishes also gatteaux's etc all home made in their farmhouse cafe they have a lovely garden for afternoon tea and a small restaurant inside.We have visited a few times now and the food is scrumy ! They are English and open most days ithink they close wednesdays but you are best to book It's called the Doucoeur garden cafe 0233 51 19 53Happy eating !Karen. There's also an excellent restaurant IN Gavray run by Patrick and his wife Restaurant des Delices (I think) Most of their clientele are French and it is now becoming quite chic amongst Gavray's professional classes to go for fish and chips on a Friday evening!
