Compromis de vente & 7 days "cooling off"

Hi,

I've searched for this and the results comment that the 7 day period normally starts from when you sign the compromis de vente.

I've signed mine, OK, no problems - but it is now being posted across France to the elderly owners so they can agree and sign it.

The dates of signing will then be a week or so apart. Does the cooling off 7 days commence from my signature or the last signature (ie. in my case the vendors).

It shouldn't make a lot of difference either way, I just wanted to know how it worked when there's a delay between Buyer & Vendor.

Hi, I am certainly no expert but we were told that the 7 days applied after both parties signed.
