lucky luke
Hi there,I'm sure this isn't the right place on the forum, but not sure where else is appropriate. I know that there is a recipricol agreement regarding child benefit and I also know that this does not apply if you only have one child. My question is, if you continue to pay your NI contributions as my husband has been doing whilst working in England ( my child and I have been resident in France) we are entitled to full child benefit - therefore when he takes early retirement in October, should we not be entiled to child benefit in England as he will still be paying his full NI contributions when he retires?Has anyone any experience of this? Have I no alternative other than to have an other child?!! LL
lucky luke
Thanks for that - damn he should wait a few years before he retires!! Does this mean that when he gets the OAp pension we may still get a year or two of child benefit ( he is currently 57 and child is 9)CheersLL
