Smart Cars

Someone said to me the other day that Smart cars can travel on ferries for a similar cost to motorbikes. When I asked where to find out more they did not know. Has anyone else heard of this.

Never heard of that, particularly as bikes are usually fitted into the sort of areas where no vehicles, not even a Smart car, would get. It's a nice idea though.

Knowing how ferry companies work I think a Smart is 'a vehicle up to 5m long and 1.83m high' or whatever the current minimum dimensions are. Though I wonder if you could tie two together and still be 'under 5m long'?
