Flying to Nimes

About a hundred Worcester rugby fans are flying from Liverpool to Nimes on 20th January 2006 and then onto Montpellier for a 1930hrs kick off.

The plane lands at 1630hrs ish so you can see time is quite tight.

I see that you catch a shuttle bus from Nimes airport to Nimes itself. Could someone tell me how often this bus runs, the times, the cost and where does it go to in Nimes. i.e. how far from the train station?

The plan is to catch the train to Montpellier.

How much would a taxi cost from the airport to the station in Nimes?

100 supporters ? I'll keep well away !

The shuttle meets each flight and stops at Nimes railway station. I'm not sure the bus will take 100, though.

In any event, the airport is close to town, say 10 mins, and taxis would be around Euro 20. I'm not sure there will be enough taxis to take the overflow, but they are in phone / radio contact and can bring more in.

Trains to Montpellier are about every 15 minutes and take about 40 minutes. Montpellier station is adjacent to the bus terminal and also has a tram stop.
