Insurance for moving furniture

Has anyone had experience of getting insurance for their furniture, fixtures and fittings whilst taking them to france?

We are moving our stuff ourselves in a large trailer, and I wwant to make sure we are insured. Our English home insurance will not cover us, and neither will our French home insurance. Has anyone got a name for a 5 day cover option?

We would also want to insure the trailer we are borrowing. My car insurers will give me a separate trailer policy, but wonder if there may be a better option.
