Tony F Dordogne
Not sure whether this should be in Culture or South Western France ...........The Rex Cinema in Sarlat is showing a special screening of the classic (1922) Murnau version of the Dracula story 'Nosferatu', this coming Sunday at 5pm.The new score for the film (premiered at the BFI a couple of years ago) will be played by a string quartet during the film. This IS a classic film and for anybody interested in either European cinema or the Dracula genre, it will be well work seeing. Mark
A string quartet in that little cinema in Sarlat? Magic. Is that sort of thing a common occurrence throughout France? I've never come across it before. And what a great film - so creeeeeeeepy....!

Mark
That's what I meant! I must have multiplex-itis Tony, demanding 10 or so movies in one building, although the cure is kicking in as we seem to only have a travelling DVD in the towns and villages around here (a disc not a player).
