There's something on one link about the poor image people with club foot had in the past, because they tended to go round like beggars.I called in at our nearest neighbour (good friends) yesterday and she was in a bad way - couldn't even bear to wear her special boots. I knew she had something wrong with her feet, but it had never dawned on me before that it was club foot, until I saw it. In the past all she said about it was that it was a neurological condition.Perhaps her parents had been too poor to afford treatment when she was a baby.
