It's darker than Wolf Hall, with a sense of doom about it. It tells the story of Anne Boleyn's final few weeks as Henry flirts with Jane Seymour, and Cromwell oversees the "legal" case against the queen.When I was reading it I thought how people can get used to and cope with the horrors of their time.
