this is my first attempt with a photo... so fingers crossed!  these were our babies... born on the 1st of May... mum has a shaved tummy as she had to have a scan as she was slow in delivering - kitties were almost delivered by c-section... in the end she managed on her own although one little one didn't make it!!!

this is one of the kittens a few years on with our third cat Tikka... he was the one laying on top on the left... he was always hungry and the children called him piglet... he's so big now we just call him pig!

What lovely pictures, especially the one with the tiny kittens.

Since moving here five years ago we have gone from being a non-animal family to adopting a dog, getting 7 chickens, then this Easter a hamster shortly followed by rescuing a kitten from being run over, to this weekend buying my daughter a beautiful Welsh pony [8-)]

love the expression on his/her face!

I'm getting carried away now as I've discovered how this works!  I've another picture of kitties just a few minutes old.  Pig this time is the one getting lost looking for the milk!!! [8-)]

The dog has accepted the kitten very well - she even shares her bed with him sometimes!!

He also takes great interest in the hamster. I've put a lock on the cage just in case!!

Just found this thread, so many beautiful animals, now you're all for it!

Bertie, 18 month old lurcher

Indy, 13 year old greyhound x saluki

Probably best not to bother with this one if you're not on broadband, but the old man thinks he's still 3 not 13 and does kite chasing:

Rio, 7 year old rough coated lurcher

Foster Hounds - 1st row Dempsey (1st foster), Storm, Hugo, 2nd row Dillan, Purdy, Bertie, 3rd Row: Bertie with Pixie (also a previous foster) the day before he came to me, Storm, Storm (with my Rio behind her).  As you can see I failed with Bertie and haven't been allowed to foster since.

What wonderful dogs Nettie and lovely photos.  I especially loved the one of Dillan (I think), the beautiful brindle, brindles have always been my very favourite colours.  If I didn't love Danes so much I think I could change to those beautiful and elegant dogs of yours.

Below is Cassie, one of my brindles, sadly, she is now gone but always remembered.

Brodie and Mitch, sadly both lost within last few weeks, aged 16 and 17 respectively:

Brodie: Rottie x German Shepherd

Not overly bright, but once a lesson was learnt it was there for ever!

Mitch: Collie x Vulcan?.....but the ears were deceptive, he was deaf.

It was a 3rd prize for "the waggiest tail"[:$].  He badly needed socialising when we got him, and we went to a small dog show which was part of a series of events to support a local village's "CC", which we assumed was their Cricket Club.  I was appalled to discover afterwards it was for their "Coursing Club."  Never went anywhere near there again.  (But he was thrilled to get the rosette!)
