I passed the factory a few years ago and actually stopped to see what was happening. I have never seen a queue like that in France. I think - judging by the time of day - the doors were open but not everyone could get in at once so the queue was people awaiting their turn inside. Thinking back, it was a Saturday afternoon so maybe weekdays are a little less congested. Edit:sorry - that related to the factory shop [:$]... it may be different in the town shops.
