Buying white goods - recommendations please

We, fairly recently, bought on line from Darty. It was our first time buying online from a french company and I was in England at the time of ordering. Dead easy but you need to have a french telephone number, either mobile or landline.

You can also book a delivery slot up to two weeks in advance and it's free. Two men delivered and were more than obliging. I asked to check the two appliances (fridge freezer & washing machine) whilst they were still there and they even unwrapped them for me.

I would recommend Darty, but I'm sure other companies are equally as good, I've just not tried them yet.
