Timothy Posted September 10, 2003 Share Posted September 10, 2003 Hello!I was wondering if anyone could help me find a 5-day or week long course on painting, cooking, nature or anything cultural, in French, in Brittany or Normandy starting 20th October? Its a present for my Mum, who needs to practise her French, which is good, but, apart from cours de cuisine run by chefs from the Relais et Chateaux network at 2000 Euros a week (!), I cant find anything. Liz Posted September 11, 2003 Share Posted September 11, 2003 Some years ago I attended a course in Ouistreham specifically for people who spoke a reasonable amount of french and simply wanted to practice. We had a few lessons with a very nice lady and were then free to explore the area. It was arranged with VFB who, I think, are still in Cheltenham. If they no longer offer that sort of course it is the sort of firm that may well offer the kind of thing you are after.
