Weather in Limousin.

Just incase anyone is thinking of moving to this part of France (det 23 Limousin) and wondering if the area has a winter?

the reply is yes, this morning at 8am it was below freezing (3 degree) .

The locals have told me it will be snow anyday now, and they are always on the ball when it comes to this sort of forcast.

The garden is solid and the birds really seem pleased with the feeders being full every day,

I had a visitor near our post box this morning, "a small deer" Ive seen this deer twice this week and I hung some cabbage bits on the hedge hoping to make a friend but we'll see how it goes.

Im pleased the local hunters are not allowed to shoot the deer.

It's the same in Poitou Charentes (86). Ice, low temperatures but bright sunshine.

Ive a 1965 triumph 650 bonny and a velocette 200 (noddy bike) the dream is to be able to spend more time on the bikes,but just now her indoors wants this gite completed a.s.p,

I was thinking of offering the gite services to the bikers by adds in the verious bike mags.

What do you think, good idea or not? we're 200 miles from dover so it would be a good stop off for spain ect,
