Jonzjob
Back on theme. I boiled some water in onne of my spare tubes (they can't touch you if you do it in private [:-))]) and put it on some of the weeds on our drive 2 days ago. Yesterdat they were looking VERY dead! So I did the same yesterday afternoon and by the evening they were looking very poorley! So it looks as if it is a very good, quick and garden friendly method and it ain't costing any more than the cost of the water!! You do need sunshine though and it doesn't matter what the ambient temprature is or how windy it is because with the sun it will still boil! Scooby
Where have all the worlds honey bees gone?http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/03/07/eveningnews/main3919204.shtml
I think the primary culprits are thought to be parasitic mites or fungii. Nevertheless we haven't seen any reduction of bees in our garden - but we have it planted with lots of 'bee friendly' plants.
